This listing is for Cornflower, Rhubarb or Tangerine colourways which will suit spring season types.

Wonderfully soft, my hand rolled felt coat scarves are neat and stylish. Individually hand felted, I make my unique scarves using the cobweb felting method, which makes them drape well.

Using traditional felting techniques with just soap and water I roll each scarf 1,200 times before making the fringe, and 'fulling' the scarf to make felt. I use only about 50g (2oz) of fine merino wool, or fine merino blended with silk to make each scarf. This means they are very light too.

They all designed to fit neatly under a coat at approximately 155 cms x 25 cms, but as a hand made product they do vary in size.

The hand rolled felt coat scarves are very easy to look after. Unless your scarf is dirty, I recommend just an occasional steam iron to freshen and soften them. It's even better if you can use a lovely smelling ironing water. They can however be hand washed in cold water with shampoo and conditioner (yes!) before being carefully re-shaped, dried flat and steam ironed.

I love scarves, but I don't like fighting them when it's windy. so I decided to make myself a scarf that I could tuck neatly into my jacket or coat, without feeling bulky.

I added the fringe for fun, but loved it, so now they all have them.
