These are cayenetta chilli peppers, from my garden, picked and hung up to dry. I love chillies and I couldn't resist painting them.

This is an original watercolour and ink artwork, a perfect little gift for the chilli lover in your life...or for yourself if you like it spicy!

This painting is 5" x 7", mounted and framed in a solid wood white-painted frame, ready to hang. The frame measures 8.5" x 10.5" on the exterior.

I make a lot of still life paintings based on what I grow in my vegetable patch! In the Spring it was sugar snap peas, Summer is all about ripe tomatoes and in the Autumn it's chillies and pumpkins all the way.

Painting the seasons as they pass is one of the ways I keep finding inspiration - there is always something interesting happening in the garden and the zingy colours never fail to inspire me.
