I really love wrapping presents, especially the decorating with the ribbons etc. I have been guilty of thinking that gift bags aren't as exciting. Last year, there was a lot in the media about wasteful Christmas wrapping and packaging, so I decided to give myself the challenge of making a reusable gift bag that looked as exciting to open as a present. I have really enjoyed creating the finishes for these bags - reusing ribbons, decorations and fabrics to find colour and texture combinations that will hopefully give the recipient the same joy as any beautifully wrapped present would.
