A handmade sea glass Christmas tree decoration - straight from the beach! This little Christmas tree has been made from emerald green Scottish seaglass and a tiny piece of patterned antique beach pottery. The tree has been wrapped in silver wire with a swirl forming the star on top. Sparkly baubles and silver snowflakes are hand-painted for the finishing touches. Twine hanging adds that rustic look! The pieces themselves are tree slices and some have bits of bark around them. They measure between 5-6 cm in diameter.

There are several sea glass trees in the shop and due to the natural materials - each is guaranteed to be unique!

The sea glass washes up on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. Much of it dates back to the Victorian era and are known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.

A tiny angel for your Christmas tree - straight from the beach! This handmade hanging decoration was created using natural resources found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. A beautiful angel made from whelk and cockle shells - both painted a beautiful shiny metallic silver. Two pieces of mussel shell have been used to make the angel's wings. A tiny wire halo has been added along with snowflakes. There are several of these angel decorations in the shop - each a little different!
