8mm Mookaite Beads make up this colourful set of Mala Beads. Mookaite is a variety of Jasper found near Mooka Creek in Australia. This stone will help with lifes ebb and flow, and emanates the energy of instinct. A Guru bead of a 10mm Sugilite completes the piece. Sugilite makes you feel safe and protected, like in a bubble.

42"/106cm long, (approx - guru and tassel not included) supplied with a gift box, made from bamboo.

I have a great interest in the energy of crystals and love long jewellery styles. I learnt about Mala Beads in my crystal research. These beads are made following the original techniques. Beads are strung onto 2 lengths of cord representing the male and female energies. Between each bead is a knot, knotted in a way to join the 2 energies. I have chosen to use 108 beads, (Mala beads have varying bead quantities) which represents a mantra to be said during meditation. The Guru Bead (normally a larger bead or charm) represents the start and end of the circle of mantra and meditation.
