This piece from the Portals range shows an aerial view of a deep cobalt sea surrounded by coral reefs.

Do you see the same landscape or does it remind you of another view, maybe one you saw on an exotic holiday?

All the colours on this piece are formed from the combination of two glazes, which as they react together in the kiln they produce different effects. Here wisps of coral flow into the cobalt crackle glaze at the border between the two recipes.

Framed in a box frame with a glass cover.
