Inspired by Scandinavian and mid century print and colour, this contemporary 'Little Houses' home print would be a striking addition to any wall. Having lived in London for many years in my 20's I was always fascinated by the mixed up architecture on the London landscape. I combined this with a backdrop of oversized flower heads and simple scallop base to locate the design within the aesthetic of where I live today, next to a chine, by the sea. This design as with all my designs started life as a lino print and I then digitally coloured the print to enable me to create the contrasting contemporary colour palette you see.
