Item details
This necklace inspired by nature. Mauve roses on a sunny yellow background. The roses are made using a technique called caning, where polymer is shaped into a kinda log with a pattern running all the way through it. Bit like a stick of rock. It is then thinly sliced and applied to a surface, in this case a bright sunny, yellow bead. The mauve flat beads complement the larger round beads. Yellow and mauve are one of my favourite colour combinations. I’m bit of a junkshop junkie and like to buy bits of jewellery that I can incorporate into my designs, hence the small amber coloured beads.
