Plaice Fused Glass Fish Wall Hanging Decoration
Description
These fused glass Plaice are available in blue or green and are designed to bring a splash of colour to any indoor or outdoor space. With slightly goofy faces (not unlike real Plaice) they are quite friendly looking fish and can be hung using their two integrated wire hooks if required. Each Plaice is approximately 26cm long.

How it's made - After cutting the various pieces of glass needed I add two hanging hooks and fire the fish on a high heat to fuse the body into a single, smooth piece of glass. Then I add detailing and fuse again at a lower temperature so the final piece retains a 3d effect.
Creature Fact - Plaice eat shellfish. Can you imagine being eaten by something with a face like this? It doesn't seem a very dignified way to go.
Inspiration
I made a mod cod and wanted to follow it up with other 60s themed fish. These were going to be Small Plaices with targets for spots but Mrs GRS advised fused glass fish are niche enough, without specialising in mod fish. In retrospect I'm pleased I followed her advice as having seen how the faces of these fish turned out, I don't think they would have been the most fitting tributes to Mssrs Lane and Marriott.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
