Item details

Kincraig beach lies just west of the village of Earlsferry. In the 12th century a ferry crossing was established by the Earls of Fife between here and North Berwick, for the use of pilgrims travelling to St Andrews. The headland in the distance is called Chapel Ness: a small chapel was built here for those pilgrims and its ruined remains still stand.

I am deeply interested in Scotland's history and landscapes. I enjoy taking photographs and then digitally altering them, and I hope that you find this new, slightly skewed perspective intriguing!
