I wanted to find alternative uses for recycled barrels after buying one to use as a garden planter and finding the wood to have fantastic colour and shape , the idea for the bottle opener came about whilst sipping a bottle of beer in my workshop after work and picking through the off cuts from some tealight holders, it's been my intention from the beginning to use as much of the available material as possible and this is part of the overall plan
