This bag is a unique creation with it's individual combination of colours and fabrics.
Made from a heavy duty, tulip themed, cotton/linen funrnishing fabric, this strong, ample bag has a burgundy velvet outside pocket and an inner tulip fabric pocket.
It is fully lined in a complementary dusty green cotton and the exterior base is made from a pale blue/grey cotton furnishing fabric.
The exterior, interior pockets and the base are bound with the same burgundy webbing as used for the handles.
The bag is finished with burgundy top stitching and the webbing handles are attached using the same colour thread.
The straps are created from double cotton herringbone tape and are long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder or hold in the hand.
The size of this bag means it is brilliant for shopping but also means it can be used for a wonderful variety of carrying purposes from everyday needs to overnight requirements.

44cm wide
45 cm deep
10 cm base
42 cm each handle
18 cm x 19 cm front pocket
19.5 cm x 21.5 cm interior pocket

CARE:
Hand wash or machine wash on wool cycle
Steam iron
Main fabric: cotton/linen mix
Lining: cotton
Webbing: cotton

All fabric have been prewashed to allow for shrinkage

This lovely tulip themed fabric has such gorgeous colours it was a pleasure working with it.
I chose other fabrics from my stock to match colours and textures that complement the main fabric and highlight it's beauty.
This is the only bag that I have made from this fabric.
The fabric also inspired the creation of a number of aprons that are for sale on this site.
