This illustration was based on my artists allius Wolf Town Art. The name ‘Wolf Town’ was inspired by the origins of my hometowns name; Ulverston. Previously known as ‘Ulvrestun’, Ulfarr meaning ‘wolf warrior’ and tun meaning ‘farm’ or ‘homestead’. There is also a local legend that the last wolf in England was killed in Ulverston but I prefer to imagine a town where the wolves rule!
Ulverston is a beautiful, little, cobbled street town in the Western Lake District. If you’re ever in the Lakes, give it a visit!
