A gorgeous contemporary style sterling silver warp ring

This ring has been repurposed an antique teaspoon dating back to circa 1760, originally created in Hanoverian style.

I've cut off the bowl from the spoon and used the handle to form into this lovely ring.
I've filed and polished it to a high sheen now creating this beautiful contemporary ring with a comfortable, stylish wrap design, which brings it right into the 21st century.

You may wish to choose 1 size larger to accommodate the style and width of this ring.

I love collecting vintage items either for display such as glass bottles or I like to repurpose some things, especially spoons and sugar tongs. I enjoy researching the history of the item and of course I love to give things a new lease of life when I can such as with these spoon rings.
I create many designs from the spoons; some of the rings I wrap whole to shape a ring, others I cut down, form, add texture, colour such as a darker patina to add contrast and sometimes embellishments as in this ring with the addition of the turquoise. A lot of my larger jewellery pieces have tribal elements to the design, I felt the turquoise suited this design perfectly. I will be adding more designs please check back soon.
