423 Fountain Pen made from Festival Colour Grain Wood

423 Fountain Pen made from Festival Colour Grain Wood
Love this

This elegant Fountain pen, hand turned from Festival Colour Grain wood (Birch veneer pressure dyed in different colours, glued together and then cut on a bias) comes with an etched chrome cap which simply presses on to the post when the pen is in use and screws on to the pen nib to close.
The barrel once turned is then very carefully sanded and polished before fitting with the chrome components and nib assembly. The medium width nib is of high quality iridium from Germany and the pen can be used with disposable cartridges or bottled ink.
It is presented in a nice Grey gift box.

I wanted to make a pen that was bright, colourful and attractive to have and to hold and would make a gift that people would cherish.
