23 x 23 cm fused glass dish gently curved to up to 3cm at corners. Flat central base ensures the piece sits well on a flat surface, however this piece can also be displayed on a plate mount. This is a completely unique piece, the only one of its kind, made late 2014 in a style that I stopped recreating by end 2015. It has a fabulous glossy smooth finish, curved edges and is made from 2 layers of glass fused together. The confetti pattern is embedded within the glass. Its a sturdy piece, weighing around 900g. The dish is a bright clean white opal glass with bright orange edges. The confetti is made from a mix of red, orange and yellow hand sprinkled onto the glass prior to fusing in the kiln.

During 2014 I created my first collection of decorative dishes which was solely black & white, with black confetti style patterning. During late 2014 following my daughter's obsession with orange - when clothes, bedroom walls, lampshades etc HAD to be orange, I made a few of the signature pieces with orange rather than black. This plate is the only one of its kind. I love its fresh and clean design. It is bold, lively, and has a little piece of sunshine in it - it was a wonderfully happy and creative time for me and I think this piece represents that. As part of a massive clean out of stored work this has come to light. I don't have room to display all of my stored pieces so I am hoping that someone will find a place to display this lovely piece rather than it sit in storage any longer.
