At the start of lockdown I was unwell, anxious and had lost my sense of creativity. I was inspired to create this linocut by the thought of us all as bees living in the separate cells of a honeycomb. I found the meditative process of cutting and printing a reduction linocut over a couple of weeks very calming, and it helped to restore my creativity.
