Hello! My shop is looking a little depleted because I will be in Brittany for a couple of months from the 9th of July. Due to the new customs rules I can't take my finished artwork or wools with me, but I will, however, be able to take pet portrait commissions for delivery in October, November and December. So if you would like a life-like, lasting memento of your pet, please contact me.

I love working to commission and if you send me a good, clear photo of the head of your pet in the pose that you want, I will reproduce that photo in merino wool keeping you updated at every stage of the process with photos.
I build up the portrait by stabbing or piercing the fibres repeatedly with a barbed needle. It's a time-consuming process but the results are fun and it means that every animal portrait is completely handmade and unique.
The artwork is then framed (I will give you several options) but can also be supplied unframed if you prefer to do it yourself.
