Dark blue adventurine, swirled with clear & clouds of white - bubbles & spits of fused white pieces of glass. This art is transparent, opalescent and iridescent all in one piece - this is a 20cm long x 14cm tall bullseye glass formed from wedges of 3mm glass - in places it is 6mm or more thick making it a substantial and weighty piece. I have set it in carved light oak - that has two indents behind to hold tea light - real or battery to cast shadows and sparkles from within the dark blue into a room... This is, as is usual for me - a unique one off item. The bottom of the wood is finished with baize. It would make a wonderful gift for a wedding, or a special person in your world - usually make it female. Someone who, like me, is mesmerised by the sea!

I am missing the sea! I’ve made a few of this concept over the past year - they live as far away as San Diego and as close as a mile from its creation... clearly I am incapable and unwilling to churn out duplicates so each one is totally unique in colour, size and feeling... I love the idea of having a piece of window art that when the candles are lit, can be moved to the living room to add atmosphere - as this is a truly two sided piece - enjoyable from any angle! PLEASE NOTE: if you want this delivered outside the UK - you need to email or call me first to agree postage!
