Pamela is an homage to the Belle Epoque, resplendent in her 1890's era gown, made from historic patterns in beautifully printed cotton, she features the balloon sleeves and high neckline of the era. She was inspired by the elegance of gowns from the House of Worth and the many other Parisian designers that were dressmakers to the fashionable of the time. Peacocks were a common theme of art nouveau, so I felt them only fitting for her to wear!

She has a cotton petticoat and underwear, and little felt shoes so she can dance to her hearts content if she feels the need!

Pamela herself is made from high quality quilters cotton, and has a painted face, with cheeks blushed softly in chalk pastels. Her hair is cotton yarn. Whilst she does not contain anything dangerous to children, she is a collectors doll and for display only. She makes a perfect gift for a lover of historic costuming or interested in the elegance of the 1890's and the art nouveau era!
