This is a new edition to my "stained glass" wallhangings, and I must admit I quite like the simplicity of this one! Using a variety of fabrics to re-create dry sand to sky with the added touch of the hint of seagulls in the sky make it a nice calming image to enhance any home.

Designed and handmade by myself this wallhanging is created using cotton batiks in the main with a bright batik backing which sandwiches the wadding which adds texture and dimension after the final quilting stitches.

With three tabs to add a hanger of your choice to compliment your own decor the finished size being approximately 12 inches by 17 inches.

PLEASE NOTE - whilst I am busy restocking my shop this item is currently only available as made to order, whilst the design will remain the same the fabrics used may differ depending on what I have available at the time, thus making each piece unique. My collections create purposeful items, including many that replace single use alternatives.

Where possible I endeavour to reduce my impact on our fragile planet.

When choosing materials I seek to:
- use recycled fabrics
- pad products with wadding that is 100% recycled plastic bottles
- upcycling discontinued fabric sample books to reduce landfill
- source Eco-friendly haberdashery resources where possible

I work towards Zero Waste by:
- using fabric offcuts & scraps to create new fabrics
- using Eco-friendly and recycled packaging

My love of the ocean, beaches, waves and all things coastal inspires this wallhanging. I find being close to the sea so calming and hope this wallhanging can bring a little calm into your life where ever you may be.
