These bowls are another version of my Sea Bowls. Inspired by the movement of clouds and atmospheric changes, my Sky Bowls have a smooth matt finish . The decoration is made through folding blue oxide into the wet clay before moulding. Once fired I sand the bowl to a smooth surface and then gild the edges with silver or gold leaf.Can be sold separately or part of a stacking set of three. 9cm diameter 6cm depth.

Having been inspired by the sea for my sea bowls , I turned to the skies for my inspiration here. The swirling weather patterns that dominate this part of the world with ever changing cloud formations have been ' captured'within my bowls.
