These are lovely long, dangle earrings. Made by me in Hertfordshire. Their quirkyness comes from the type of glass used for the bottom layer. It is called "striker" glass. This glass looks one colour before it is fired and a completely diferent colour after firing. In this case the glass was a petrol blue before firing and is a lovely gun metal grey afterwards. The top, clear layer of dichroic glass shows the original blue glass colour behind the layer. They are sold with surgical steel hooks. Absolute one off, different and quirky earrings. Gift boxed.

Since this was a striker glass (one that changes colour in the kiln) I was taken by total surprise as to how these turned out! But I do love the gun metal grey and the way the original glass colour shines out.
