All my designs are made with care in high quality natural yarns.
Any knitting patterns can be made to order, please message me for details.
Your purchase will be carefully wrapped in an attractive bag, hand made from recycled cotton fabrics and tied with a ribbon and Knitting Jules tag. If sending directly as a gift, I am very happy to write your personal message on the on the tag. Just message it when placing your order.
I use recycled materials in my packaging.
Dyeing from plants creates beautiful subtle colours which blend well together. Throughout the Covid19 crisis, I have been shielding with my partner and walking in in early morning when it is quiet has been my great pleasure. Along the river bank I gather few branches of Willow or a bag of nettles, to make small batches of dyed yarn. I also grow plants for dyeing in my small Victorian walled garden which we are gradually restoring. The process takes 2-3 days of mordanting to make the yarn dye fast, extracting the yarn from the plant and finally dying the yarn. I am never sure how the colours will turn out which is what makes it so exciting
