Feel pretty on your period!
Beautiful and comfortable cloth reusable pads, hand-made to last.

One of my favourite prints, beautifully soft.

£6.50 per pad.

How to use:
The pretty side goes against your skin. The fleece backer is water resistant and should not leak if you are using the correct size pad for your flow. If you have a super heavy flow I recommend a PUL backed pad.

Washing:
Soak your pads in COLD water until ready to wash. You can use a scoop of stain remover if you wish. Hot water can fix stains.
Wash at 40c.
For stubborn stains I recommend gall soap or vanish soap bar. Alternatively hang in the sun to dry, UV light is fab for removing stains.
These pads can be tumbled on low heat, but will last you longer if air dried.

Topper: 100% super soft cotton
Inner: Zorb & 2 layers of cotton
Backer: polar fleece

ZORB absorbs 10x its weight in moisture in half a second – that’s 20x faster than cotton, bamboo or hemp.
Zorb will retain 3 times the moisture of microfibre terry.

I’ve been an advocate of the menstrual cup for years now. When I was expecting my littlest one last year the thought of using a cup post-partum was...well, it made me shudder!

So being the little eco warrior I am, I started looking into cloth pads. I discovered that I could make them myself with little more than some old clothes.

Then when my daughter started her period I ordered some fabric of her choosing (periods CAN be pretty!) and made her a whole stash, adjusting and adapting them as I went with input from my daughter.

I really enjoyed making these pads! I hope you enjoy them too!
