Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

This is an original hand pressed reduction linocut print of the striking Neist Point Lighthouse which stands on the most westerly tip of Skye near the township of Glendale. It is based on photographs I took while on a visit on a September afternoon.
I created this print at home using the back of a spoon and an iron.
This is the 3rd of an edition of 12 prints. This is a reduction linocut print so there will be no other original prints made from the plate, as the plate is destroyed during the creation process.
The artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Fabriano Artists Paper 200gm.
The print measures 6 inches by 4 inches. The paper is hand cut to approx. A5 (landscape orientation).
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will send the print out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. I charge full postage for the highest priced item, then 20p for each other item mailed within the same envelope.
If you have any questions please ask me.
Thank you for looking at my artwork.
Neist Point was the setting for Lars von Trier’s film of the 1990s Breaking The Waves. Although this spot appears to stand in splendid isolation it is very popular and was teeming with visitors when I visited.
