Item details

This is a gold plated scarf ring that has three holes allowing you to thread your scarf through in a number of ways. The front of the ring is an 18mm x 13mm golden brown glitter goldstone cabochon. The overall size of the scarf ring is 3cm in diameter and each hole is approximately 2cm in diameter to allow for threading of your scarf.

The scarf jewellery will arrive in a presentation bag. Scarf is not included.

Goldstone has been around since the European Renaissance and is a type of glittering glass made in a low oxygen reducing atmosphere. Goldstone came about when early monks worked at a glass factory near Venice, Italy were practicing alchemy and molten copper was accidentally tipped into a molten glass container. This incident led to the formation of a Goldstone.

Goldstone is not a natural stone but a manmade stone. There is no gold in goldstone; it sparkles because there are little bits of copper in it.
