The Frog king sat in quiet contemplation.

This is a hand and machine stitched and hand painted piece.

The frog king sits under two ruby toadstools embroidered with white dots and sprinkled
with tiny sparkles, on a bed of preserved moss.

A royal ruffle sits around his neck and his crown perched on his head two victorian bone buttons embellish his legs.

He sits quietly listening to the sounds of the forest and thinking.

He measures 17cm x 13 cm approx.

Frogs and fairytales are such an insperation whats not to love so I just had to create my version of a creature from the forest of my imagination.

I have mad love of Fungus at the moment the beauty of them the colours shapes and sizes, so why not have my frog king under a beautiful fly agaric the epitome of forest life for me.

An original piece so much fun to make and watch him come to life building a narrative behind him sitting quietly among the natural forest flora. Whats he thinking? you ask, whatever your imagination wants him too, the possibilites are endless.
