Hand dyed variegated 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool .
Moorland colourway.
DK weight.
100g
225 meters ( 246 yards).
3.5mm - 4mm needles recommended.
22 stitches / 30 rows to 10 cm with 4 mm needles.
Hand washing at cool temperatures highly recommended, dry knitted items flat naturally.

I do my best during the dyeing process to make sure any excess dye has been removed, but, sometimes hand dyed wool/ yarns may run slightly during the first few washes. It is recommended to hand wash hand dyed wool before knitting with a delicate wool wash detergent.

I was inspired by my love of the colours that can be found in the beautiful Scottish landscape. I wanted to create a variegated wool that reminded me of the colours of the heather, grass and the peat or earth that can be seen in the landscape.
