Mandala Rag Rug individually crafted from rescued duvets. Duvets are gently laundered then cut by hand to form a huge ball of fabric yarn. Next crocheted using a huge crochet hook. Each rug is unique and designed from scratch by me. The nature of the fabric means there is a shabby chic element, and naturally occurring fine strands may shed slightly, however the rug is extremely sturdy and hard wearing and won't affect the durability. Rugs are made using a continuous strand of yarn so no knots or weak spots. They are warm to the feet and have a soothing almost massaging effect when you walk on them barefoot.

The Colour of this circular rug is a white with lighter shades of predominantly green and flecks of yellow throughout. Will compliment many colour schemes.

Approx measurement is 28” diameter. It is machine washable cotton/poly fabric.

I don't like to waste anything and so began using my discarded duvets and pillow cases as fabric. Turning them into yarn and making household items, storage pots and baskets, then Hot Pads. The I set my sights on larger projects and thus the Rugs were born! so so comfy underfoot. My very first one was quickly adopted by Tillie dog! They take long time to make from scratch and so each one really is a labour of love - I hope others will enjoy too.
