Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

I started writing these during our Lockdown, when none of us could see family or friends. Had been meaning to do a few before but never seemed to have the time. Like most people I suppose. Once I got started I found them quite calming and had fun adding the watercolours and gilding the little 23c gold details to give them extra sparkle.
These are just the beginning as I have a book full of quotes and inspirations to be written. Down to their relatively small size I can only write a few words but time will tell what else I will find to write.
Hopefully some of you will like them too!
