Circular Fused Glass Rainbow bowl handmade by me in my wee studio. This piece is made with transparent colours of glass which resemble colours of the rainbow!

The bowl is made by individually cutting various colours of glass into perfect long narrow strips. These are then layered with a sheet of clear glass which has been cut into the shape of a circle. The glass then fused in a kiln at high temperature. To achieve the profile of a bowl, the piece is then slumped in the kiln for a final firing.

This item measures approx. 29cm diameter x 4 cm deep. Please note that this dish is intended for decoration purposes only and is not suitable for using with food as some colours contain lead.

All of my pieces are made and designed individually by me, making each piece completely unique. As this item is handmade, it may vary slightly from the photograph as no two pieces are ever the same. Please note that colours may differ from photographs as this is dependent on glass availability.

As this bowl is made from glass, this is breakable if dropped.

Uk delivery for the item will be signed for and overseas delivery will be tracked and signed for. Please note that I do not make any money on postage and packaging and that the price for postage is reflected on the weight, size, price of item and delivery to your country. I love all things bright and colourful and wanted to make a bowl to reflect my favourite glass colours. Rather than make a piece with continuous colours, I decided to make into 100mm long strips of glass to provide more interest. I made a similar bowl as a bit of an experiment really and posted on social media and was blown away by all the comments received :) This is always a show stopper at craft fairs and events.
