Very quirky and slightly mad little 'tripod' dish with matching spoon, made in high fired stoneware clay. They are decorated in bright canary yellow with dark green spots. The dish has three extended legs finished with gold feet. The dish and spoon are totally handmade without the use of a pottery wheel, so they are pleasingly irregular in shape. They have a tough clear stoneware glaze, so are fine for nuts and nibbles etc. The dish is approx 10 cms wide and 8.5 cms high.

I know this little dish is slightly 'over the top' but I'm really enjoying making totally handmade ceramics at the moment without the use of a wheel. And this dish is one of several pinch pots that are in the pipeline. There is something very attractive, I think, in seeing the irregularity of pots made completely by hand - they have a character all their own.
