A wooden apple made from a piece of beautifully patterned spalted Beech with a natural stalk.

The patterning is created by a natural spalting process which makes each piece unique

The wood has been shaped using hand tools while spinning on a lathe. It is then sanded and oiled to bring out the intricate patterning in the wood.
Finally a stalk is created and the detail added to the underside.

This attractive apple makes an ideal ornament for any mantle piece or dresser or alternatively could be used as a decorative paperweight in any home or executive office.

The apple measures approx 60 mm talk by 55 mm wide (approx 2. 75 inches) with the stalk adding approx 25 mm (1 inch) to the height.

Your apple will be supplied in a hessian drawstring gift bag the apple will make an ideal gift for someone special.

Please note that each piece of wood is unique with its own beautiful patterning, however the one you purchase will be the one pictured.

These apples are a beautifully simple shape which are a joy to turn yet the curved surface really shows off the wood grain pattern which really sings when oiled!
