I am an artist, selling my watercolour paintings of individual flowers in local art and craft events. My paintings are just at the crossroads between flower and abstraction. In my painted world I want my subjects to come alive, whether its morning dew on petals or bright sunshine reflecting out. It was my dad, who first got me interested in the World around us. We would go on adventures as a child, crossing borders; 2, 3 or 4 each summer break. Or at home he would tell us stories of the countries and their people.
The World fascinates me, the features, the lines that define and contour the lands of the world we see today. My paintings have evolved and overlapped, giving them a deeper level of meaning and understanding that I hope touch and bring a smile to everyone who sees them.
