Swirls of foamy waves lapping gently over the sand, this artwork is reminiscent of a tropical paradise beach.

This mixed media artwork has a tactile element which compliments the visual aspect. I used real sand for the beach, which you can still feel in some areas. The sea shells and starfish are also real and produce a lovely 3D element to the scene. Looking in the 'sea' you can see glints of turquoise crystal suspended under the waves.

The sand and sea art continues on the sides and top and bottom edges for added interest, therefore the canvass is sold unframed. If required I can add hanging hardware prior to posting.

This artwork is created with 4 layers of resin, adding different elements or applying a variety of techniques all culminating in this truly unique piece of art.

The depths and detail in this scene are impossible to capture in a photograph and the colours are also tricky to accurately portray.

The canvas measures 16" x 12" and is 1/2" deep (or 41cm x 31cm and is 1.5cm deep)
Please note that due to the elements used within the art and the number of layers of resin involved, this is a relatively heavy canvass - weighing in at about 2.2lbs (or approx 970g).
