This practical little toiletries bag with its folk art print, would double up as a great storage purse or to carry small amounts of make up. Made from a beautiful fabric remnant, it is covered in little naive folk emblems with a wonderful strong colourways to give it a rich feel. It would make a lovely present for a someone who loves Folk Art or bold design or for someone needing a virtual hug right now.

The fabric has been backed onto canvas to give it some body.
It measures 22 cm across, widening slightly towards the base, and measures 15 cm down. A tuck at each end, gives it a 3 cm wide base, to make it more roomy.
There is a 22 cm maroon colour zip fastening, and the bag has a different pattern placement on the front and back.
It is lined with a blue patterned vintage fabric, and there is a practical hook to hang it up and admire the colours. It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.

I like to recycle where I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd class post.

One cold and wet Autumn night, I cycled to a fabric remnants sale in York, and was immediately warmed by this wonderful fabric. Designed by Mathew Williamson, it has a Folk Art feel in its use of strong colours and bold symbols with a touch of Folklore from Eastern Europe.
