Encaustic art is a free flowing media. There is never a repeat pattern. So you have a very bespoke original. I love working with this material, as the painting reveals itself. It also has intriguing end results too. Some pictures can be displayed on either of its sides and some won't. Hence I do not sign the front.

The process is with a small hot iron and many colorful wax blocks. With a number of techniques to give different textures.

I went on holiday with my family to the Isle of Wight. We went to a local arts and craft village, where I found this amazing encaustic art process. I absolutely love it and the way it can change in seconds. So I thought I would share it with you.
