The Hare, a shy animal, can run up to 50 mph over short distances!
The males fight during springtime and 'box' with each other, giving rise to the expression 'mad as a March hare'.
I love their long floppy ears and their roguish behaviour. Definitely a fun creature and one of my favourites.
My one is having a scratch!
