This is a length of quite large bunting flags, it's quirky, colourful and unique.
I make it using all the fabrics from my clothing collection so the flags are vintage floral, quirky, tropical and colourful.
There are 17 different fabrics in this length of bunting, prints including flamingos, parrots, roses, lemons, skulls, elaphants, hibiscus, patisserie and newspaper, all pure cotton and washable so that it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Each flag measures 26 cms across the top edge and 23 cms from the top to the point at the bottom. There are 19 flags on this length of bunting and they are approximately 5 cms apart.
This length of bunting, from flag to flag, measures 6.1 metres, plus 1 metre of tape at each end for tying, so 8 metres in total.

Fabrics are a great inspiration for my collection; they fall into several categories, such as English vintage, retro 1950’s, tropical, quirky and classic. I do like wild and colourful fabrics however there are some more subtle ones too.
I don't like to waste a scrap of these fabrics so they make lovely smaller items such as this.
