This is an A5 card, left blank for you to write your own message.

The image on the front has been hand felted from loose merino wool fibres using a single barbed needle and is based on a photograph taken by a local photographer at Tate Wright Photography.

The scene shows a sunset in my local village in Saddleworth, near Manchester.

I use felting art as my therapy following a diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy and resultant heart failure 4 years ago and donate 10% of all my sales to the heart muscle disease CardiomyopathyUK as a thank you for their support.

I often create art work from photographs, and have a working relationship with a local photographer from Tate-Wright Photography who allows me to use her fabulous work as inspiration. This image was based on one of her photographs of a sunset in a village local to me in Saddleworth.
