Lovely hand cross stitch Christmas message set in a natural pine cone wreath. Cones were locally foraged and other embellishments on the wreath (beads etc) were recycled.
The cross stitch is in purple metallic thread shading through silver to green on white backing and the wreath has a hanging loop attached.
The pine cone outer wreath is approximately 23cms in diameter and is decorated with purple, silver and green beads.

I've been making pine cone wreaths and cross stitching separately for sometime and felt it would be a nice touch to combine the 2 traditional crafts to make a pretty and long lasting decoration that could one day become an heirloom.
