An olive-ochre stoneware jar with subtle marks reflecting the variations of glaze thickness on the wheel-made texture marks. The lid and exterior are decorated with brush-applied iron oxide splashes. This wheel thrown jar is perfect for spices, condiments, herbs, keys or your small precious items. The jar was thrown with a UK stoneware and, after biscuit firing and glazing the piece was fired to 1300C to make it impermeable and very durable.
- The jar is food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe and measures approximately 6cm tall and 7cm wide.
- The bottoms is impressed with my seal, the letter P, and its identity number 9524.
