Original Iris reduction lino-cut.
Description
An original reduction lino-cut print of purple irises on Japanese paper. Print comes mounted in an off-white mount in a sealed cello bag. Mount designed to fit a standard 8 x 10 inch frame.
Inspiration
Lock down created a need to find print making processes which I could do at home without a press. Reduction lino-cuts whilst time consuming can be hand pulled and I started on a series of floral prints. This one depicts one of my favourite flowers and is one of three in a variable edition; the other two having been printed on white mulberry paper.
