A unique collection of Inks. Made traditionally on Exmoor, Devon in the artists studio - Unearthed. I forage for Oak Galls in Spring and Walnuts in Autumn, I collect Earth samples from clay, mud, rocks, stones and coloured earths, process and refine into fine powders, used for, Watercolour, Oil paint, Egg Tempera, Inks for writing and drawing and wood stain & dyes.

I strive to be a Earth Conscious Artist and maker using natural sustainable materials. Earth Pigments and Inks occur naturally and I forage for colour. Earth pigments are naturally occuring minerals, many found in Devon and Exmoor, at rivers, estuaries, coast and Moor. Primary types are Ochre's, Umber's and Sienna's, from clay, mud, chalk and rocks. I refine these in The Unearthed Studio into paint powders and Natural Inks.
