Slim in form, the Dolmen stool is designed with versatility in mind.
It can be used as a Side table in living rooms and a Stool around a kitchen or dining room table, and has been made in keeping with standard dining furniture size. The lower shelf can be used to store books and other objects. It's high functionality and compact form makes it an ideal gift or addition to any home.
Every stool is lovingly handmade and finished with close attention to detail. Due to the nature of working with reclaimed Fir wood, each build will have it's own unique marks and charactersitics, and will therefore vary slightly from the photos above. Photos of the particular stool you are buying are available upon request.

All our stools are finished with a protective layer of oil or wax.
Stools are available Natural matte finish, using Raw PolyX natural oil, oiled with Danish oil, painted with White chalk paint (matte finish). All finshes are used are made of natural ingredients to provide a healthy living environment without the use of biocides to ensure the finish is safe for humans, plant and animal. Dolmen stool pictured has a natural matte finish using PolyX natural oil.
The ‘Dolmen Stool’ is so named for its likeness to the megalithic tomb structures over Britain and Ireland, which are very simple ‘legs with a table’ designs that have lasted thousands of years.
