This is a simple, pretty necklace. It has been beadwoven by me using quality glass Japanese seed beads using a stitch known as twisted herringbone, which forms a spiral of two strands. I have chosen to keep one strand in a single denim blue, with the other alternating between lime green and cobalt and aquamarine blues; all of the beads have a lovely matte finish. The result is a swirl of blues that should add a fun pop to any outfit! The necklace has been finished using Sterling Silver findings, including a secure lobster clasp.

Total necklace length is approximately 39cm (15 1/4 inches), including clasp.

It is the nature of this stitch that some thread will show; however, it will remain secure if treated with respect.

This necklace has not been hallmarked as the silver used falls under the legal exemption weight; however, the clasp carries a ‘925’ stamp.

This is a recently developed stitch taught by Jill Wiseman, that was adapted by Ann Wilson to form a tighter spiral. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to play with the way the two strands interacted with each other!
