Size w 8.5 x d 4.5 cm

A small glass bowl that has a myriad of uses and yet is perfect when it's not being put to work. This bowl is white with a dark blue grid pattern and is part of a series of four trinket bowls that are made from white glass powder which forms the pattern and the dark blue is 'grouted' into the lines. This piece has been fired five times to achieve both the pattern and the shape and is finished by being sandblasted and polished on the edge to maximise the effect of the two glass colours. In total this little bowl takes 2 weeks to make and is perfect for providing a home for your treasures.

A couple of years ago I made it to Greece. I've been around the world but never made it to Greece and I was pretty desperate to see the blue and white on the islands that Greece is so famous for . I wasn't dissappointed and so wanted to echo those lovely colours in glass. There will be more! Who can resist such a clean and vibrant colour combination.
