A very heavy (250g) trinket bowl but still small at 8.5 cm x 4.5 cm. The inner is delicate web of vanilla and white reaction glass producing a grey shadow against a vanilla backdrop, the outer is pillows of glass stripes with a clear backing. This gives you four layers of glass hence it's weight! You can leave it to be admired or use it as a useful place to put rings, earrings, paperclips, garlic, olives or nuts. Just not all at the same time.

I've been playing around with both wafers and reactions. Wafers are powdered glass that is thinly applied and then quickly heated to nearly 700 degrees and cooled creating a delicate wafer of glass. and reactions is where the elements in one colour glass reacts with the elements in the other. Sometimes the effect is wonderful. This bowl is made from a web of vanilla and dense white glass.
