I think it is always nice to receive a card in the post in this day of digitalisation. It is something to keep for yourself or to give to someone you care about, just to say 'hello' or to send with a little note.

Female pheasants are more timid than their male counterparts. The ones we have in the garden are quite tame but then food is involved! It is something when one returns with a skirt of little chicks surrounding her. A compliment to us indeed!
